David Grumer is a seasoned financial executive and the founder of David Grumer Consulting LLC, where he provides CFO and consulting services tailored to businesses seeking financial clarity and strategic direction. With decades of experience in audit, financial operations, and business strategy, David helps businesses streamline accounting processes, develop measurable strategies, and enhance financial systems that support sustainable growth. David is a graduate of Bernard M Baruch College, CUNY.

David’s career spans over three decades in financial leadership, including 14 years as an audit partner at Citrin Cooperman & Company, where he provided hands-on guidance to clients, led audit teams, and developed training programs for industry CFOs. Before that, he spent 13 years as an audit partner and independent auditor, overseeing audit and tax services across industries such as real estate, food production, and financial services. He also served 11 years as an audit manager at two national accounting firms, working with businesses in manufacturing, distribution, and financial services.

His expertise lies in transforming complex financial data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. Whether refining financial structures, optimizing cash flow, or bridging the gap between accounting staff and ownership, David provides leadership that empowers businesses to move forward with confidence.
